Week 25 - Baby's an eggplant!

My first pregnancy bump shots in Singapore!

You can tell from the photos that Singapore's pretty warm and summerly. There's no seasons here so one can wear spaghetti tops and shorts the whole year round.

This must feel like a dream for many of us who live in colder climates. But I remember craving, yes literally craving for a change in seasons when I was growing up. I used to think, "Oh won't it be nice if I could live in a country with seasons!" And God apparently heard that cry, albeit sub-conscious one and now I'm living in Germany-- and craving for warmer weather! Wahaha.

Something new this week - I noticed today that my belly button is significantly shallower! It looks like baby's going to pop my belly button anytime soon!

And I know every pregnant woman says this, but I REALLY love being preggy! I enjoy having a baby belly and being able to feel baby move inside me! The whole wonder of the miracle of life continues to astound me.

On the left: I'm at a hawker centre having my favourite tea with milk and packing up some noodles for my breakfast the next day - which I subsequently gave my brother.

On the right: A random shot in front of some greenery. Can you tell a difference in my hair colour between the photo on the left and right?

Hi! Landed on your blog :) Congrats on your pregnancy! You look radiant! Have an enjoyable stay back in Sg for a while. I'm with you about craving for a climate we can't have! heh. I just lamented yesterday about how nice it would be to stay somewhere with four seasons, but clearly recall craving for warmth during the winter months in the UK a couple of years ago! Humans ;)

Hi Pris! I think it was through Bev's blog. I was drawn to yours because your pregnant (another new mom!) and your blog title (the joy of the Lord is my strength!) :)

Thanks for compliments on the photos - I use either an iPhone or a DSLR - I no longer use my compact camera coz it kept dying on me.

Yes studied and met my husband there :)

I'm going to add you on my blogroll! :)

Hey Corsage!

Oh, you follow Bev's blog too? I started following her blog after Hunter was born actually! Before that, I couldn't figure out how to leave a msg so I felt like I couldn't "participate" in the comments.

How nice that you met yr hubby overseas too! So did I! Met him in Canada actually.

Oh I would love to follow u too!
