Finally feeling really good for the first time in my pregnancy. No pains, stabs, legs are fine. Wow. Actually don't feel preggy at all!
Thank God for technology and the Internet which assures me that I still am! And there's a little being growing inside me!
I subscribe to this website www.babycentre.com which sends me weekly updates about my baby's progress. Really enjoy reading these little snippets of little Beanie.
Here's a short excerpt for your reading enjoyment! :)
Your baby is now some 10cm long from crown to rump, about the size of an avocado, and weighs about 100g. In the next three weeks she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, doubling her weight and adding centimetres to her length.
In or out of the uterus (womb), babies are playful creatures. Yours may already have discovered her first toy, the umbilical cord, which she'll enjoy pulling and grabbing. Sometimes she may even clutch it so tight that less oxygen gets through. She'll let go of the cord before she starts to go without what she needs. Your baby's head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved closer to the front of her head. Her circulatory system and urinary tract are in full working order, and she's inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid through her lungs. Your baby is immersed in amniotic fluid, which is protecting her as she grows in the amniotic sac.
Sometimes, when you move suddenly, you may a feel a slight pain in your sides. Ligaments on each side of your uterus and pelvic walls are stretching as your baby grows. It's normal to feel some pain, but if it continues for a few days or gets worse, talk to your midwife.

wow, you're still not showing. oh man, my flab belly is big enough to make me look like i am 5 months preggers then! thankfully, people haven't been asking otherwise it's so embarrassing to explain it's just fat. please say a prayer for us so we can have a blessing of our own too. post photos of yourself!
Hi Jos!
Hah, I think I'm not showing, but some of my friends and my hubby think I'm showing a bit. That's because I don't have a round belly to begin with and now I just look like I had a bit too much to eat. :)
I don't believe you have a flab belly though! I've seen your photos and you look fab!!! Sure thing!!!! Will pray for you! I know how the wait feels!
Will post pix maybe tomorrow or Friday!
Hi Pris, congrats you are into your fourth month! Sorry I haven't been posting much as work has been keeping me really busy, so I don't get to read your blog posts as often as I would like to. Many people around me have either given birth or are preggie and I feel so hapy to see their progress or pics of their little ones. Wonder how we'll feel when it comes to our turn. Should be pretty overwhelmed I guess, but that's still too early to say. Looking forward to your return :)
