Happy birthday Singapore
Ok, I don't want to brood over unhappy experiences. I suppose its part and parcel of moving to a new place. Its Singapore birthday today. This is also the 4th National day that I'm spending overseas. Happy birthday Singapore. You will always have a special place in my heart. I think living overseas makes you realize how Singaporean you are really. People look at me funnily when I tell them that I will never give up my Singaporean citizenship. Its something that has never crossed my mind and I'm too happy and proud to be a Singaporean to give up a part of my birthright that I consider a privilege and honor. As such, I changed my Facebook profile photo. You can add a flag to your photo by going to this website here.

Hey Steph
Yeah, fellow soon-to-be-living overseas Singaporean would know how I feel too. Its like the one thing left that makes me feel "Singaporean" in a legal sense.
