I´m number 2 when people search for white dress at weddings in Germany! How cool is that? hahha, okok, I know its a cheap thrill, but how often do you get to be number 2 among 282,000 entries?!?
I think it depends, it's like that no white before Easter rule here, does anybody really care? If it's one of the "old" rules I'm sure it doesn't matter, I've worn black to weddings (which I hear is a no-no) and no one said anything. I'd say call a Berliner and ask their opinion.
ps, I'm loving the result under yours, aren't all weddings in Italy Italian?
Hey archie - thks for commenting. Do you have a blog too? Are you living in Germany too? Thing is, my husband has asked his colleague to ask his gf (bride-to-be) and its quite obvious that she would rather that I don´t wear something white. She did mention that if its off-white, or not 100% white it would be "ok"....but we´re getting the impression that I shouldn´t wear white at all. Such a pity! But then again, its quite cold now...so perhaps it would be unrealistic to wear a summer dress... PS. I didn´t quite understand what you meant abt the "italy italian" thing...care to explain?
