Baptism at the River

We had a baptism at the river on Sunday afternoon and boy, its so lovely! The baptism candidates were baptized in a river and Stephan was the emcee - he was simply great! And we had a barbecue at the end of it. One thing I really love about Germany is the weather. We could barbecue without perspiring. It threatened to rain, but we were praying that the clouds would hold and true enough, there wasn´t a downpour but just a bit of drizzle.

We managed to talk to different people, people we don´t usually get to hang around with normally. I spoke a bit of mandarin to one chinese lady and of course, I got to hang out with little kids all over the place. I´ve got to be one female who finds it hard to click with toddlers. The other girls I´ve noticed, simply seem to love kids! They are the type who aspire to be kindergarten school teachers eg - you get the idea. I prefer little babies, who are too young to run about and quiet enough to be carried.... =) Heehee. God, You know me, please give me a healthy, calm, wise child......

We were also invited for a lady´s Esther´s farewell party on Saturday. She´s the one who has her wedding on exactly the same day as Stephanie´s and Ryan´s in Singapore. Hence, we have to give her wedding a miss, but we managed to go for her farewell party - cos she´s moving house and it´s kinna like a bacherlorette party, except that the guys came along too. Right: That´s me in my new yellow off-the-shoulder top from New Yorker´s - only about 7€!

We had a very conversation with this girl from Bulgavia and she has such a powerful testimony to share about how she became a christian. Now, she´s like mentoring a new-born Christian guy who gave his life to God one month ago. He has another super powerful testimony, like his life changing so much in just one month! Its amazing to see how people´s convictions change overnight and this guy really has such a strong conviction about making changes in his life after he knew Jesus as His personal Saviour.

That´s the party spread. I brought dessert.
