Visitor from Hong Kong!

My dear friend, Connie came over to visit last week. I was so honored that she spent one entire day with me alone! -This amidst her busy schedule and lack of time to have private appointments. I got to know Connie a while ago when I first moved to Germany. She´s the first person I could really click with, being married to a German, staying in a foreign country, language barrier, jobless for a while etc. The list goes on. Obviously I was devastated when she moved back to Hong Kong after 7 years here (and I only got to know her in her last year). However, I´m very positive that God has His best plans for her and her hubby and I´m so happy to see how God has proven Himself to be so faithful in her life - especially after what seemed like a 7-year drought in terms of getting a job in Germany. Now, its like doors are opened to her that one wouldn´t have been able to imagine 7 years ago.We spent such a glorious day, simply shopping, catching up with one another, coffee, cake, quick dinner and a quick bye, without tears but a "see you soon"! We certainly hope to pop by Hong Kong the next time we visit Singapore. Miss you Connie! Let´s keep in touch and pray for each other! xoxo

Shanghai is much much colder, Andrea. Sorry Pris, juz had to post here. In Shanghai, winds are cold and strong so scarves and gloves are a MUST! Trust me. Once you catch a chill or a cold dry cough, it'll take you months to recover.

Oh yes, it is pretty cold in Germany now, about 0 degrees at night and 3 degrees during the day. Yah, so I wear jacket whenever I go out these days.... :)
