It´s over! (in more ways than one....)

Above: I bought a slice of German cheesecake from the bakery on impulse. The 3 candles represent the 3 days of "torture" that he survived. It looks nice but honestly I think my homemade New York cheesecake tastes WAY better. The beetle was given to him by the school. Its believed to bring "good luck" in Germany. We obviously don´t believe in "luck" but it was a nice gesture nevertheless....

My hubby has finally finished his 3 days of killer exams. He came back today and was so beat. His last paper was a KILLER. The first day´s papers were "ok", second day´s were "very good" and third day was the worst of the worst. Anyways, we´re both so relieved that the exams are over. 1 year worth of studying and part-time working is over! We would receive the results just before Christmas and hopefully he would be able to do his oral exams end Jan 2009. If he gets a grade better than a 4.0 (4.5 is the passing grade), he shouldn´t have any problems passing his orals.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone of you who have been praying. We really appreciate all your prayers from the bottom of our hearts. I myself haven´t been sleeping well over the past 3 days. I think I´m beginning to realize what it means to be "one flesh". I always thought that I would be nervous only when I´m the one taking exams. But then, this time I really felt as if I were the one taking the papers, when I wasn´t! I guess this is what the Bible means to "carry each other burdens"....

Anyways, I have enabled "comments moderation", which means that I would vet comments before they are posted on my blog. Its important for me to know who´s commenting on my blog. I´m quite ok if you´re a silent reader of my blog, but if you would want to leave a comment, please do identify yourself. While I´m thankful that so far I haven´t received any nasty comments and I certainly do appreciate constructive feedback, it feels weird for me to communicate with a nameless person. Its like talking to person without a face.

I must admit that I do happen to know the identity of one "anonymous" person, simply from his style of writing. However if there´s more than 1 anonymous person, (which appears to be the case here), the guessing game is no longer amusing. For those who know me personally, I´m not one who can take suspense. Drives me crazy. There´s no reason not to sign off. The option Name/URL allows you to simply leave a name.

Don´t want to put your real name, then come up with a pseudonym. At least I have a certain name to connect your comments to, but please don´t be so "doof"- as they say in German (daft in English) to change your pseudonym every time....ok I think I´m rambling here..... In short, as a rule of thumb, if there´s no identification, the comments will not be published. Don´t be a stranger, say hi and identify yourself. If you have a blog too, it´d be nice for me to get to know you too.
