Dead sea scrolls digitalized

The Bible is TRUE! (not that I ever doubted that it was) Yesterday during cell, we had a mini-competition with the youths to see which group could come up with as many verses in the Bible that talk about the word of God....i.e. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" for example. Today, I scanned through the CNN website and what did I find? Dead sea scrolls go from parchment to the Internet

Its amazing! The dead sea scrolls are going to be digitalized. All archaelogical evidence that God is REAL and that He wrote the old testament are preserved on these scrolls. They are apparently one of the oldest records of the Old Testament ever written. Some of the scrolls are going to be on display at the Jewish museum in New York. What a piece of God´s love letter to us, I´m so thankful that the Bible has been duplicated and remains the most popular book in all history. Only thing is now for the people who own a Bible to actually take it out of the shelf and read into it. The pastor last Sunday gave this example "It doesn´t make sense to lick a walnut and wonder why its tasteless. We need to break open the shell to taste the fruit inside". Myself included, don´t read the Bible as often as I should. Nevertheless, I´ve been trying to read 1 chapter a day during the time I travel to-and-from work in the train. It works!

Amen! Yes, indeed the Bible is full of treasures :)

Our cell is sort of getting back on track but we still don't have a leader. Now we're doing Bible study on David. I remember what you told me before about Stephan in DTS and the name David. =)
