Singaporean food galore

I love cooking. Have I mentioned that already? Especially now that I´m not teaching much (abt 15 to 17hrs per week), I have time to spare to do what I wanna do.....So, yup...I tried the Prima taste Mee Rebus and Prawn soup. Boy, it was so good and my dear hubby liked both of them! The Mee Rebus wasn´t too spicy and the soupy prawn noodles was great for his tastebuds too! Now I know I can try and see if I can cook Mee Rebus from scratch. Since I had too much Kang Kong, I decided to stir-fry the remaining in sambal chilli (bottle from Singapore). It was SUPER spicy, even though I only added a small amount. Good to satisfy craving though. Oh and as you would have guessed, the last dish is non-other than Singapore-famous Bak Kut Teh (pork ribs soup). The first time I cooked it, Stephan didn´t fancy it, citing that it tasted too "chinesey". This time round (no change in cooking), he actually really liked it! Boy, God´s really answering my prayers about helping Stephan to eat and enjoy the food that I cook. Woo-hoo! Must add that this soup is super oily, so it was good that I cooked it one day before and scooped out the fatty oil layer.
