Ailing and Sophie

I met up with the Lim family today and spent a scorching hot afternoon in their Holland Village apartment. It was so great catching up and I simply need to add that its so much more fun when people have blogs! Its like I find it SO much easy to catch up with Ailing cos she updates her blog regularly and even though the last time I saw Sophie was 8 mths ago, it feels like I've tracked every stage of her growth and development! Yes, this is propaganda for those who don't have blogs to - start one! And those who have one but don't update - please update!

Sophie is such a smart baby! She's like forming full sentences of "Sophie wants xxx" or like "Mummy blow" (her food). And all this at 1.5 years of age! Oh and I taught her how to say "tschuss" - bye in German. Guess what, she had no problem repeating the word after me in the exact enunciation! Its so intriguing to watch her actions and listen to her talk. She has this soft, gentle voice that is persistent at times when she feels that people are not listening. Man, makes me wanna have my own kids too!

Today's weather was so bad that I'm really looking forward to Germany's weather when I go back too! It won't be much cooler since summer is here, but at least it won't be so humid! I had to shower twice today.
