No internet and phone! boo hoo.....

I can´t blog, use the internet or the telephone. My connection has been down since last Thursday and its bugging me! 2 repair men came so far and they say that the cable from under the street to the house is spoilt, so they would have to repair this cable. Thing is, I don´t know how long its gonna take! Was quite frustrated before, cos I thought someone was going to come to repair and I waited at home - a torture when I got absolutely no connectivity to the rest of the world! And then, when Stephan called the telephone company, they said that nobody was going to come anymore....what the heck!

Doesn´t help that I fell sick all of a sudden yesterday, just before youth cell. I thought I only had a bad cold when I took my temperature and realized that it was 38.2 degrees. Was freezing when I tried to tuck myself to bed. This morning I woke up to constant hammering and knocking - my beloved neighbour downstairs is doing renovation works to her kitchen! It was so loud that my earplugs didn´t work against the constant noise. Isn´t that the best thing when all you need is rest?!?

I finally moved my bed to the other room and shut every single door and window and stuffed my earplugs as deep (but not so deep such that I can´t take it out) as I could....and finally then could I drift back into slumberland. Thought my fever left already, but still have 37.9 degrees now.

Ended up spending the rest of the afternoon at my in-laws where I can finally have some human contact and company and some very interesting discussions about Creation vs. Evolution theory with my dear daddy, Werner - in German! (Figure that.....) And I finally got to check almost 1 week´s worth of emails, read some nice blogs and news! Geez.... Man, I seriously feel like I´m in jail! Go crazy with the "stuck at home" and no connection feeling. I mean, I can´t even research for job opportunities without the internet! Maybe its a time when I should learn to start reading hahahha.....Ya ya, shall endeavour to do that before I´m re-connected to the rest of the world again......
